Saw the movie yesterday. To make the long story short:
- the storyline has some flaws and it isn’t really catchy, but the main idea is somehow interesting
- Saoirse Ronan is one of the best young actors I’ve seen lately (you should watch her in Atonement where she is brilliant and in Lovely Bones)
- Cate Blanchett is well…Cate Blanchett (and one of my favourite actresses)
- bonus for the girls: Eric Bana is as hot as always (remember Troy?…though there he was a little bit overshadowed by Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom)
- another bonus is the fact that it shows a lot of places and has some pretty interesting and various settings.
Conclusion: go see the movie if you’re curious, but don’t get your hopes very up
